Sigurd Haugdahl was my grandfather and where I got my middle name, Keith Sigurd Haugdahl. So great to see the legacy of Sigurd and the Wisconsin special being properly taken care of. Sigurd lives on and my sons name is Lukas Sigurd Haugdahl. Dont know if it was mentioned on this site but he helped design the original race courses through the beach dunes at Daytona, FL which in time would become the Daytona 500. True pioneer in racing.

Hello! The attached link is a picture of my wife’s grandfather with the car. I was wondering if you all have any info on the picture? Like where it was taken? My wife’s grandfather unfortunately passed away in 1989 and we have no info on the pic. I’m amazed at the car as I’m sure he was! Thank you.
A great weekend at the Oslo motor show. It was good to see the Wisconsin Special well taken care of and in an excellent condition! I also learned more about the speed record and the history of the car and Sig Haugdahl.
All well!

Thank you for preserving and sharing! What a stellar vehicle! Where is the Wisconsin Special? I love the videos, too! I see that Sigurd and his son Sigurd are interred not far from here.
Me and my Brother have been talking about this car for years.
